Yes.  Although if Democrats retain control of the Governor’s office, they are likely to extend the “temporary casino” indefinitely.  Once a casino comes to Tysons and drives other corporate customers away, it will be there for good.[/quote]

Yep. Just like the temporary toll on 267 until it paid for itself. Goal reached and it remained in place. There is no going back once it is in. According to the new bill, the revenue from the casino must be used for FCPS. I expect funding from the state for FCPS to be further reduced when that sweet, sweet tax money comes rolling in. It won't be a net gain for Fairfax County, but down state will have new funding. [/quote]
