These harms include: 
Measles: High fever, severe rash, pneumonia, encephalitis (brain swelling), subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (fatal degenerative brain disease), and death.
Mumps: Parotid gland inflammation, encephalitis, meningitis, and permanent sterility (ovaries or testicles).
Rubella: Rash, fever, and severe, irreversible birth defects (Congenital Rubella Syndrome) if contracted during pregnancy.
