[/quote] The reasonable solution would be to give each student 2 excused absences to flex for religious holidays, let everyone else attend schools those days, and work with the other northern Virginia school districts to uncouple spring break from Holy Week, tying spring break to the end of the quarter like Catholic schools do. Eliminate the religious holidays and leave the national federal holidays. Eliminate the early dismissals, except for the end of the quarter, OR move the early dismissal days to Fridays only.[/quote]
