Unless he is able to apologize and admit he needs/wants to change on his own, counseling may be pointless. I refused counseling with my similar DH because he could not answer the simple question about what he thought would change. He seriously just believed that counseling would teach me to be nicer to him and stop triggering his outbursts 😂 [/quote]
