Usually if a kiss cam captures something awkward (like when it becomes clear the people aren’t a couple), they pan away so fast. Not this time! Lol. [/quote]

Chris had been commenting on the kiss cam footage, very light hearted, funny, sweet comments on the fans who were in costume, with their families, friends, people of all ages, etc.  It was a fun moment during the concert and everyone was watching and listening avidly, really enjoying it. Then this couple appeared on the cam. They were different than everyone else who had appeared on it to that point, in that they were clutching each other very romantically. After Chris speculated that they were either having an affair or were just very shy, he seemed to have a what did I just do moment, like maybe this could be serious. He definitely got quiet, you could sense the wheels turning, even as the crowd was shrieking and laughing. I think what threw everyone and maybe the reason the kiss cam stayed on them was that the young woman standing next to the Head of HR was smiling and laughing while communicating with her, although she had turned her back to the camera. Also, other people nearby were mugging for the camera. It was really confusing in the moment.  I will say that in retrospect I’m impressed that Chris pretty much nailed it immediately, in front of 60k people. I was on the floor, and after the kiss cam moved on, the people standing near me were all looking at each other quizzically, wide eyed, like, uh oh, what we just saw was probably not good. [/quote]
