But the cost of living is a tiny fraction of DC's or even Maryland or Virginia's! 12 eggs in Europe, the free grazing, cage free kind are $2-3. Living expenses are so much less, I won't even start on healthcare. You simply don't need the same salary. Also - we buy waaaaay less crap than Americans. Oh, and there are no credit cards (all are pay by the end of the month), so people don't go into debt at the same rate.[/quote]
