Newsom has exactly zero chance at a successful POTUS run. California politicians are very unpopular outside of California. Just ask Biden. The VP he threw into the 2024 election fire at the last minute was a Californian and she couldn't get over the California/Biden hurdle to beat the worst candidate in American history. Nothing associated with California or Biden will do well nationally in the current environment just as nothing politically associated with Trump has ever done well. I listened to Harris closely, but it was muddled. I think AOC should be paired w/another Squad member, or a gay man, to check the DEI boxes.
