Do you not see how this reply is not so different from the entire problem?  This idea that some people are better than others because of bizarre social conceits?  Whether it's "influencers" or people making less than $20M a year or whatever silly invented materialist criteria we've come up with, rather than values like kindness and compassion and the like?

Candice Miller flaunted her life very publicly because she wanted to feel superior, and she wanted people's validation that she was indeed "better" than most people because she was rich and wore beautiful clothes and blahblahblah.  And lots of people bought into that.  They admired her and aspired to be like her.

Your criteria might be different.  Heaven forbid, admiring an "influencer!"  But it's the same kind of snobbery and elitism that social media has unfortunately magnified into a worldwide epidemic of consume, consume, consume.[/quote]
