No one is suggesting that the child be sent back to Afghanistan.  The family members seeking to raise her are legally in this country.

But furthermore, her cousin ran a coed school in Afghanistan.  His wife is highly educated.  Yes, there are families in Afghanistan who don't believe women should leave their homes, but there is no evidence that this particular family believes that.   [/quote]
