Because OPs husband involved the whole family, publicly. So now everyone is involved. It didn't have to be that way, if you just wanted Dave to come clean. But, vindictive DH went for the jugular. And it all started due to OPs post and an off color joke. I thought we had already decided all the people involved were terrible people? OPs husband and Dave are two a-holes who found each other in life. Who can be surprised?[/quote]

OP - did nothing wrong. She posted about her daughter and the comments section blew up. (I assume she is not responsible for any of the obnoxious posts on here so she's blameless)

Dave - major a$$hole for cheating on his wife and for making the comment if he meant to imply that OP's daughter is fat

OP's DH - major a$$hole for making that comment on OP's Facebook page about Dave's affair (this is NOT an either/or situation where DH being an a$$hole means Dave is also not an a$$hole. It's like how two people can order the same item at a restaurant and the universe will keep spinning)

Dave's wife - her lashing out at OP is not ok, especially since OP had nothing to do with this, and the fact that she is potentially dealing with finding out about her husband's affair on a public forum does not excuse her behavior (do you see how someone being hurt doesn't mean they can act however they want)
