This.  We don’t object when women are told to put their children in daycare. [b] But when someone suggests there’s value in taking care of your own children, he’s public enemy number one.[/b]

There’s a lot of years between college graduation and retirement.   I don’t see what’s wrong with prioritizing one’s own children, especially when they are young.

Exactly.  In fact, he told the men to “Be unapologetic in your masculinity. Fight against the cultural emasculation of men. Do hard things. Never settle for what is easy…” 🙄 I would say that being a homemaker is hard and (over his words) most important, so why isn’t he telling men to do that?[/quote]
