According to the police scanner, they were able to get police at both ends to block traffic mere seconds before the bridge collapse. There were a couple vehicles (related to construction), but non-construction vehicles were limited due to the late night timing of this incident. Currently 6 people are unaccounted for. 2 rescued, but hospitalized. [/quote]

2 people were rescued this morning; 1 declined EMS service at the scene and the other was taken to Shock Trauma in critical condition. Channel 11 News said this afternoon that the person at Shock Trauma had been released.[/quote]
