No. I’ve never heard anyone say that. It happens when people are disaffected, feel like they have nothing to lose, and are angry at establishments or the “system”, but it’s not an act of resistance- it’s a crime spree.[/quote]

But the attorney did say that. Here is the exact statement.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE MEDIA
I write this open letter with a profound sense of outrage and
frustration over the unjust portrayal of my client, Dayjia

what can only be described as an all-out assault on black and
brown people, as their character and actions are mercilessly
vilified. We cannot afford to disregard this insidious injustice.

incredible talent for creating hilarious and captivating content

This is hysterical. Dayjia posted her own live stream of her criminal activity including theft of henessy and 
her live stream encouraged others to join in the crime spree. Media had nothing to do with Dayjia participating in a crime spree.  There were (a few) white faces arrested as a result of the crime spree so it was not only black folk stealing.[/quote]
