You're right, there are actually no dedicated bus lanes in D.C. There are dedicated bike lanes, there are lanes where buses have to share the road with cars and bikes, and there are lanes where buses have to share the road with bikes. But the fact that buses can't even get their own lanes because they're forced to share them with bikes just shows how the city is willing to make a larger, poorer group of commuters sacrifice for a smaller, wealthier one.[/quote]

So you think buses just sit behind bikes as long as the bike is in the road, they never pass the bikes, the bikes never pull over to one side of the lane and allow the bus to go by, there’s never a traffic light where they can shift places, etc. I’m so glad you’ve got an active imagination! Perhaps you could put it to use figuring out how to solve our actual road-sharing problems instead of trying to come up with new ones that don’t exist. [/quote]
