A big part of it's because not enough blacks care about black bodies being killed by other blacks.  [b]Far too much of the "snitches get stitches" mentality [/b]- everybody knows who's committing the violence but nobody is willing to help police to nail them so nothing ever happens and nothing ever changes.

Tonight two people were shot outside the Greenleaf Rec Center and none of you finger-wagging folk complaining about [i]everyone else[/i] concern-trolling give enough of a shit to even be aware.

So tell me, what are you going to do about those shootings?  Have another useless meeting just like the others that didn't solve anything?  And "ohh you don't get to talk about this because you're probably white and live in a fancy house off in some upscale neighborhood and this doesn't affect you anyhow" is a bullshit deflection.  1.) this isn't about ME and 2. ) you're WRONG anyhow because this happened one block from where I live.  More likely it's YOU who doesn't live next door to weekly shootings and it is YOU who is the armchair pontificator here, pushing your soft bigotry of low expectations of the black community and painting your fictionalized fantasies of anyone who disagrees with you of being a clueless rich white racist elitist living in a multimillion dollar condo.[/quote]
