He does not have a stutter. He had a stroke caused by a blood clot. He is also not releasing his medical records. If he wants to be re-categorized as disabled have at it, but there is a big difference between a speech impediment caused by anxiety and one cause by a debilitating medical condition that cut off oxygen to his brain. +100.  I am a liberal dem in PA and voted for Fetterman in the primary, and will in the general, but am very upset at how his campaign has refused to release medical records.  They downplayed the severity of the stroke for months.  And it will be horrible if because of this many voters flock to Oz, and PA ends up with Mastriano for governor too.[/quote]

A statement from his doctor (who contributed to his campaign, BTW) is not medical records.  They have not released a cognitive test.  The letter written by his doctor did not include a prognosis for what can be expected in the future.  It has very little information about the effects Fetterman is suffering as a result of his stroke.

Given that the stroke was over 5 months ago, it is quite possible that where he is now may be the best it is going to be for him.  [/quote]
