I deliberately picked a college with no Greek life, that's how sure I was that I didn't want to be a part of it.  But reading the venomous anti-Greek posts vs the more balanced and reasonable Greek defenders, I feel like I would probably have had a great time had I been in a sorority.  I'm neutral on whether my daughter should rush or not at her large university - going to leave it up to her.  [/quote]

I've read the entire thread.  What "really gross posts" are you referring to?  I've seen some incredibly rude and ignorant comments from the anti-Greek contingent.  Really not making your case - at ALL.[/quote]

Hmm.  Referring to sororities as a “ridiculous bunch of shallow women, idiots, the entire world is laughing at you, idiotic sorority, sad little lives, backwater,” and so much more, to be just as indicative of high school mean girl behavior.  YMMV.[/quote]

Maybe you should go back and reread from the beginning of the thread.  All of those comments were direct quotes.  But if you want to pretend they weren’t, that’s entirely a you problem - one of many, I suspect.  *shrug*[/quote]
