Ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages don't count as abortions.  Its not a viable pregnancy.  A baby isn't coming.  It's simply a D&C procedure.  [/quote]

Please stop, or post a REAL reference.  All I see are all kinds of hand-wringing articles about how women [i]might[/i] not be able to get a D&C after a miscarriage or other similar tales.  A D&C after a miscarriage is not an abortion, even if the procedure is the same.  It is not "already starting."[/quote]

It absolutely happens in the case of a miscarriage that still has a "heart beat"
