Conservatives don’t own the flag. Forced birthers don’t own the flag. I’m putting up my flag proudly on the Fourth. I’m hosting a family BBQ and fireworks in the evening. I’m grateful for my independence, my freedoms, and the fact that I can and will fight to make this country a better place. To those of you who are canceling celebrations or grieving: You’re waving a flag of defeat to the opppsition.
Agree. This country is also for all our daughters and we need to teach them to fight this war with all they have. This battle was lost but the war rages on.
Most pro-lifers are women.
NP. And? Those women also need access to safe abortions for ectopic pregnancies, incomplete miscarriages, rape, incest, etc etc.
Ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages don't count as abortions. Its not a viable pregnancy. A baby isn't coming. It's simply a D&C procedure.
To you and me, no, they don’t count as abortions. To the healthcare providers in the states where D&Cs and “abortion pills” are restricted, they will count. It’s already starting.
Please stop, or post a REAL reference. All I see are all kinds of hand-wringing articles about how women might not be able to get a D&C after a miscarriage or other similar tales. A D&C after a miscarriage is not an abortion, even if the procedure is the same. It is not "already starting."
It absolutely happens in the case of a miscarriage that still has a "heart beat" https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-woman-fearing-health-after-malta-refuses-abortion-2022-06-22/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Savita_Halappanavar
