I started this thread almost 2 years ago. I stopped because it got too depressing to spend time every day writing about dead babies. Perhaps I should start again. Maybe we can make something happen.
Op. Keep it up. It is depressing as all get out but is the reality of life in these United States.
I’m the OP. Strange to see this thread come back. I don’t know that I can muster the energy to start posting all the photos of dead babies again. I really wish all the people who block gun safety measures could be the ones to suffer the consequences.
Keep posting. We have Republicans all over this board (or one prolific loser) sowing discord among Democrats, trying to get us to feel so defeated about the Democrats that we just don’t vote. They know that people are sick of them; they know that only their multi-pronged, decades-long offensive on democracy stands between their party and utter annihilation. So keep naming the devil. If we kick the GOP to the curb really, we can make progress on gun violence, global warming, abortion and bodily autonomy and women’s rights, we can enshrine voting rights into law, we can work on why costs spiral out of control, why the media is held in the hands of the few… But if we feel sadsies and don’t vote, we lose our country to fascism. Forever.
