For my kindergartner learning to read it would be useful to have her teacher unmasked so she could see how the mouth makes the sounds on a page. Same for ESL kids, I would think. It would be nice if they’d make it an option.[/quote]

If would be nice for my kindergartener too.  It would also be nice if my kindergartner didn't bring COVID home to their sibling under 5 who is at risk for COVID complications.  In person school is definitely the better social, emotional, and educational place for my kindergartener.  Virtual schools is not the same as in person.[/quote]
