i don't think spj is attractive, but the hate she gets for her looks is off the charts, and i think there is some weird envy/gatekeeping in it -- like because she has the hair and the body, she scored some sort of unfair cheat card for not needing to have a pretty face. like george w bush getting admitted to yale because of his wealth and legacy, despite being dumb and a bad student. sorry folks -- this is how things land sometimes. I think you hit the nail on the head. People are accepting of beautiful women having certain privileges because that’s how life works. It confuses and outrages people when a below average looking woman like SJP also lucked into certain privileges reserved for those born beautiful; money, fame, comfort, status as a trend setter or what have you.

I think you calling her below average will bring you in direct conflict with a vocal minority here . What you said is mostly true but that's not the point of this thread. There are a few here who Ara adamant that we see her as a beauty.[/quote]
