So a white homeless person is going to be treated better than a Harvard-educated African American lawyer? The argument that white people are always treated better isn't always true. President Obama beat a white candidate. There are countless African American celebrities who are treated well. This isn't to say that there isn't racism against African Americans or other people of color but white supremacy DOES NOT permeate every single aspect of life in this country.
Ah I love this ignorant take. Look up what white privilege is, stop asking people to hand hold for you just because you want to believe there's no privilege to being white. Proportionally there are more homeless POC, they are killed more often, moved more often, and treated worse. Yes, it permeates into every aspect of this country, nice try.
that’s fine for you to believe that. governments are still not allowed to discriminate based on race, and that includes white. policy decisions can’t be based on animus toward a racial group, black or white or anything else.
You know who also thinks we should discriminate based on race and that race is the primary lens in which we should view things? Actual white supremacists.
You know who also tries to gaslight people who bring up white supremacy...white supremacists lol. Goodness and to the above PP, ummmm acknowledging WP is not discriminating against white people, you can get your head out of you bum now.
Gaslighting is liberally throwing around terms like white supremacist and mitigating whiteness as a means to shut people out and expecting the privilege of not hearing any dissent whatsoever. It is possible to recognize that white privilege exists and that people are way too quick to label things as white privilege and white supremacist at the same time. It is also possible to support diversity and not support a government entity using someone's race as a pejorative as a way to achieve that. And if you do think it is perfectly fine for a government to use someone's race as a pejorative, you will find that you may have some company with some pretty abhorrent folks.
Sorry your little feelings were hurt. At least you don't get killed for nothing.
