Most white men historically were quite oppressed. They were called peasants. Or workers in a capitalist system. They had few rights or privileges. The double standard that is emerging in today's woke climate and out of the ignorance of the badly educated woke people is the treatment of whites as a monolithic bloc, reducing everything into neat binaries when history is far more complicated and messy. Not only is it shockingly ignorant of history, it is also shockingly ignorant of the global context. But I am not surprised. Vested interests have a powerful motive in rewriting history to suit their grievances and to provide legitimacy to their causes, which otherwise have little historical merit. [/quote]
