NP. Not a fair statement, because there are actually the true victims of this blackmail: all the actresses who didn't do it and paid the price of slow (or fast) fade in the industry.

in some retail clerk job

...if they don't "play along" with powerful men? You'd tell those women they can just walk away from their careers? Or do you reserve that kind of contempt just for actresses since you think those aren't "real jobs"?

Are you that unaware of the fact that the kind of grotesque "deal" Weinstein used to get what he wanted has been around forever, and in every field? And that women legitimately can be victims if they end up caving to that deal, as well as if they refuse and pay the price?

Geor off your soapbox and save the sanctimonious rant for someone who cares. If the only way to get ahead as an actress is to suck or sit on a man’s dick, then no, I don’t feel for you. It’s not a real job. I’d rather clean bathrooms then lay with Harvey Weinstein. Several women chose the alternate then laying with him and they paid the price. I feel for them. [/quote]
