This. They use religion as a cloak for their extremism and desire to control half of the population as a means to control all of the population. Because, listen, when you control the bodies, choices, and health of women, you also control their families. When you repress and subjugate one group and deprive them of choices, you signal to everyone else they are next. This is authoritarianism 101.
