True, but it didn't help that the Biden Administration drained a third of the SPR because they didn't want a spike in gas prices in the run-up to the 2022 mid-terms.  I seem to recall hearing how brilliant it was to buy-low, sell-high as if that was the purpose of the SPR.[/quote]

Trump had been gradually refilling the SPR before he was stupid enough to start the war.

As with the Biden Administration, you seem to have missed the fact that the purpose of the SPR is in the name itself - "Strategic".  They p*ssed away months of strategic leverage for a rounding error in the US public debt. [/quote]

I really do not see how any President, even very stupid ones like W Bush, can be compared to Trump, who is by very far, the worst President in all of American history.
