True, but it didn't help that the Biden Administration drained a third of the SPR because they didn't want a spike in gas prices in the run-up to the 2022 mid-terms.  I seem to recall hearing how brilliant it was to buy-low, sell-high as if that was the purpose of the SPR.[/quote]

Trump had been gradually refilling the SPR before he was stupid enough to start the war.

Just because Trump's by far the worst President we've ever had, that doesn't absolve Biden's misuse of the SPR for political reasons.[/quote]

Biden's use of the SPR netted the country "a profit of about $3.5 billion."

How is this even up as a criticism?

$3.5B is one day of Trump's waste, fraud, and abuse. The SPR is a total non-issue. We don't need it. We need a Strategic Presidency Reserve. [/quote]
