I never heard of Walz before he was picked as H’s running mate. From what I’ve seen, he seems way in over his head and not someone who should be anywhere near the office of the presidency. Tho I feel that way about trump and Vance too, and more so, esp for trump who seems pretty off his rocker. I’ve never loved Harris but am resigned to her and of course prefer her over nutbag DJT. I do think Shapiro is tge best of the bunch but the Jew haters on the left made it impossible to pick him as VP. Harris is a generic dem politician and certainly no profile in courage or convictions so I knew she would never pick him. The race is so close and think she may very well lose. The only silver lining I see is that Shapiro or some other qualified Dem runs in 4 years.
Harris can run rings around any male Dem candidate, except Buttigieg, who is extremely intelligent and able to get things done. I wanted her to pick him as her running mate. But apparently a minority woman and a gay man was a bridge too far. How sad.
They all ran rings around her in 2020. She is a weak candidate.
I agree about 2020, but she seems to be coming into her own under considerable time pressure.
She was too green, needed more time to adjust to DC politics and gain her footing with policy more generally. People frothing at the mouth about a "female Obama" hyped her too much before she was ready. She seems to be doing well now, focused and using good judgment.
Who thought Kamala was the “female Obama?” She didn’t even win a single delegate in the democratic primary and was the first to drop out for lack of support/funding. That’s not Obama-like in any way, shape, or form.
