I wholeheartedly agree with you.  It seems that because there is very strong support for away for the day from conservative circles nationally, *some* have decided this is a political issue. Of course it’s not and I’m a true blue democrat who’s not in APE, lives in Arlington, has a HSer, and fully supports no phones.  I think it’s wonderful that parents can agree across ideological lines, doing what is best to help our kids & schools, and we need to find more common ground.  But I will get screamed at for being a liar who is actually the Trump-loving parent of preschoolers in Alexandria.   :roll: [/quote]

I have a kid in high school and don’t pretend to know the best policy because I’m not in th classroom. But teachers overwhelmingly support them, and this seems like good policy.  [/quote]
