I can’t speak for them specifically, but I know a few families that have left and it is usually bc the director and admin staff are useless and the teams almost always fall off. Most directors are plugged into the showcase circuits like BIC and American Select, she couldn’t care less about them. Most teams actively recruit talent to keep teams competitive, MDU usually doesn’t do anything unless a parent of coach decides to do something. Underperforming coaches are allowed to keep coaching, and underperforming teams almost never turn it around. [/quote]

That team was amazing, but they lasted exactly one year longer than the 2029 east team did before blowing up. Some MDU teams make it until HS, but they almost always blow up. Now it is 2030 east’s turn and they are already losing their 2 best players. More will probably leave after tryouts, it is just what happens. Why? Each team is different, but my points are part of the reasons why. Recruiting is as much keeping talent in house as it is pulling outside kids in, and MDU is terrible at it.[/quote]

Now, but at one time the 2029 east team was top 10. They fell off, just like 2030 east now, so perfect comparison.[/quote]
