If it was someone from the Senate Committee on Intelligence and the news had reported that the helo was flying back from dropping off the senator at Langley, I don't think anyone would have blinked. Everyone understands that VIPs take helicopters. We may think it's a waste of tax payer money but no one would have thought twice about it. But if it was Elon Musk, yes, I personally would be livid.
