This is clear as day - anyone who cannot see this is just plain stupid. The agent had a great deal of animosity toward the victim. Proven by him calling her a “bi#%ch” as she drove off. Wow, seconds after pummeling bullets into her head he has the audacity to call her the B word. He had other options. He should have removed his ego and emotions from the equation and simply let her drive away. What physical danger was she at that point??
It was a tragic situation. But if you watch the video in slow motion the sequence is as follows: 1. Engine revs. 2. Tires spin briefly. 3. When the car begins to move the tires are facing directly at the officer. 4. Officer fired his weapon. He can say credibly that he feared for his life. He will likely be acquitted. Again, a tragic situation.
That's...not what it shows. It shows her turning her wheel hard to the right, away from the ICE officer, and the him stepping forward, toward the car, to fire at her.
The tires were pointing hard left. She turned the steering wheel hard right, but when the car began to move forward the tires were still pointing straight. Directly at the officer. Then the wheels spun. That’s when the officer drew his weapon. The wheels didn’t begin to turn tight until after the first shot. Again, horrible tragedy that did not have to happen.
You can see he started to think of shooting her long before she moved the car when he switched his phone into his non-shooting hand.
And when he started to think of shooting her, he should have brandished his gun for her to see. He did not do that.
