The truth is DCU isn't a credible academy in the MLS academy landscape. It is FAR behind the best academies and not even really on par with the worst considering it doesn't have its own facilities and makes many of their players and families pay money to participate. No teaching methodology, no consistent results and leadership that gives no craps about the academy. Recipe for failure and DCUs academy is in fact failing. Overall, just not a good place to be.
Every academy doesn't have players in final USYNT camps. DCU has representation. So how are they far behind all other academies? DCU has players in the Premier League. All other academies don't. So how are they far behind all other academies? All other academies aren't selling players regularly and consistently to top leagues. So how is DC far behind them?
Keep asking the same questions over and over after answers have been given over and over. Look through the pages and do the work yourself now.
For the MILLIONTH TIME...in a system with low chances of success, similar results don't mean MLS academies are similarly situated. It's a fundamentally flawed argument. Like saying the USMNT is just as good as the Netherlands national team because neither has won a world cup. Just doesn't work. Keep trying to push the same dumb narratives though. The premier league claim has been discussed and thoroughly explained a few pages back. Player is not in the premier league because he plays no minutes in the premier league. He is at a premier league club and got there despite of DCU, not because of DCU. Keep trying...you can't win.
Player from DCU Academy since 13 years old till 18 is on Bournemouth Senior Team in the Premier League and listed clearly on their website
Plays on their developmental squad.
Let's say this player started and played every game for Bournemouth. He doesn't, but for sake of argument let's just accept that as true. That doesn't make DCU a good academy. Just that a miracle happened in their program that a talent player took his destiny into his own hands and made it work. Don't ask everyone else in the DMV to sign up for miracles.
