BUT you cannot and should not vilify all the AA students just as you would NOT want all white students vilified for horrendous, awful, disgusting acts done by [b]some[/b] white fraternity members.  Keep that in mind, please.

The students who harassed, hurled racial epithets, and got up in peoples faces, black and white (it wasn't just white students who were harassed either) should be expelled or at a minimum suspended for a semester/quarter. If you pay for a Yale University education, and, the school sits back and lets this happen, and go unpunished, you need to pull your kid out of there.  Meanwhile, I agree 100%: [b]EVERY person who was part of that protest should be expelled, or put on probation.[/b] [/quote]No.  Every person who was part of that protest should not be expelled, etc.  But EVERY person who was disruptive, harassed, and threatened others SHOULD be expelled, etc.  Why should anyone peacefully taking part in ANY kind of demonstration be penalized? If you took part in the demonstration, and stood by doing nothing to stop your fellow protestors to your left and right as they unleashed racist expletives and were physically aggressive towards other students then, sorry, but you are an accomplice to that heinous conduct and should also be suspended/expelled.

That's silly.  I think students who yelled/threatened should go through whatever disciplinary process they have there, but protestors are only responsible for their own actions.[/quote]
