Ignoring the fact that nursing home workers get called racial slurs all the time.

I still hate nursing homes.

I remember being in 7th grade and this bitchy girl next to me pretty much called me ugly. I think her comment was somewhere along the lines of....

"I am really not trying to be rude, but she is the least cute girl in this class."

The teacher got onto her and the girl said, "I'm just telling the truth, she's not cute."

Then the teacher just said, "Well ok, but you don't have to say it."

It crushed me.  I went through a very very awkward stage from 8 to about 14.  I was so so self conscience till I graduated High School.

I also remember hearing three boys discuss all the girls in one of my classes (I was about 13 at this point).  They were trying to decide where to place me, and I overheard one say, "Probably near the bottom, she just has a weird face."

Oh well, jokes on them.  I may not be a beauty queen but I'm fairly confident in my looks nowadays.   [/quote]
