Hey all, this is Pumpkin. So nice to hear from some of the MIA October moms. Glad you're back! JinDC, I am planning to do the barre class this weekend. Caribou before sounds nice, too. Only thing I need to make sure of is that DH finishes a project. He gets a lot of his work done on weekends (is at home with our first during weekdays) and is at the end of a project, so I'm kind of at his schedule's mercy. Our go-to babysitter moved away so now we're down to one, not good. But, I think it'll work out. I'll know tomorrow evening for sure. As for exercising and diet, I've been pretty good this time, though it is all relative. Last pregnancy I ate like a fool and I actually lost track of how much weight I gained but it was around 40 lbs and maybe a bit more. Yikes! It came off with nursing, but eventually some of it found me again. So, I don't want to go back down that road, mainly I just want to be healthier all around. I feel being older this time that I have more reason to watch my diet and keep the things I CAN control under control. I can get lazy so making myself exercise has been the hardest part. Consistently good weather should help us all! I'm due at the tail end of the month, Oct 31, and my first was four days "late," so I occasionally pop into the November boards, too since I could easily deliver then. What is everyone doing this weekend? I have had an INSANE work week, and more busy stuff coming up, but I'm disconnecting and spending most of the weekend in my garden with my kiddo while DH works - plus maybe barre on Sunday if I can make it work out. Poppy, wondering when / if you've stopped the unisom, if you had trouble sleeping. I have been taking a half tab at night for the morning sickness and I have to admit that the side effect of knocking me out has been just insanely helpful. I've never slept better....and given the multiple bathroom trips I remember this time around last pregnancy I was barely sleeping. Did you notice it was even harder to sleep once you stopped taking the unisom? I'm afraid I will have pretty quickly become reliant upon it... I'm going to stop taking it tomorrow night I think, to see how I'm feeling without. (Might be early, I am still a little bit nauseated but seems to have mainly gone away) .
