Hi all, Sepi here! Sorry I disappeared for a while. We were off living the good life at the beach! oh yeah and work has been insane. boo! Haven't looked at all the posts, but, just from this page - Sleepy, I hope your 2 year old is feeling better! I honestly don't know how people get through the first tri if they already have kids. I had a tough time just getting off the couch. And I completely feel your pain about your new job. I just sent in a deferral request for grad school (I wasn't pregnant when I interviewed, but was when I accepted). I think they'll see it as a life experience that will make you a better teacher and more loyal to them in the end. Jin - I think you're right not to worry, I hear those dopplers are tricky! Congrats on the 14 week mark! Peanut - I hear you about being worried about no symptoms. but I'm happy to finally start enjoying it a bit. I'm sorry about your sleep. Mine has been iffy too, a lot of nightly bathroom visits. I hope you get some consistent rest soon! And I wish I had a pic of our baby's tongue! That sounds freaking AWESOME. Or maybe it's a sign of what's too come? She'll be making lots of funny faces at you in the future :). November interloper - I hope you feel better soon. You'll be up to where we are in NO time! Good luck at the NT scan, keep us posted! As for me, I had my doc appointment for my 16 week appointment (a little late...I was supposed to go in earlier this week), I was so hoping for a sonogram to check out the hematoma, but the doc said it sounded like we were fine. We heard the hb and everything was looking good! He even said I could start exercising again. So I'm excited to get going! He didn't really give me any restrictions, just to start out slow b/c I had to take such a long break. The biggest change I've felt really involves hunger. Just a few days ago I started feeling hungry ALL the time. I'm trying not to eat crap, but it's tough. I've started having to unbutton my pants at work (I wear long flowy shirts so its hard to tell) and I've been using the rubber band trick. I'm definitely starting to show, it seems to have just popped out in the last week. Before I just felt oddly bloated - one day last weekend I swear I looked about 5 months pregnant. Anyways, ya'll don't want to hear about my bloat. So happy everyone seems to be healthy! Hope you have a fantastic sunny Saturday!
