Collins doesn’t have a Republican challenger in the primary, it’s uncontested.

She has always had a Democrat run against her, but has maintained strong support from moderates and even crossover voters because of her record as a so-called RINO, eschewing the most extreme Republican positions and frequently challenging Trump - I posted a Politico piece last page or two on how Trump criticized her voting record precisely because she has stood against him on many key initiatives, on some of his cabinet nominees, and by voting to convict him on the January 6th impeachment.

Collins is one of the last New England moderate Republicans, a holdover from the Grand Old Party before it became the Gang of Pedophiles.
