Lol that sounds like just mirror image of the patriarchy.  The lower earning spouse has to take crap from the higher earning spouse based on income.

Pro tip: A high standard of living for kids includes not being able to find video evidence of parent(s) being a crappy spouse.

Lest you think this is misogyny, let me reference King Charles as Exhibit A.  His kids had some of the highest living standards available in the world today.  But they'll never get over what happened to their mother.  And the video interviews with both him and Diana are there for all to see.
