False. The reason is that if they are not open they make no money. These schools already got our money. As they say in contracting, “those who got the pesos do the say so” so in this situation we get screwed. [/quote]

Generational ice storm and this is your take?

If it was just a snow storm, everyone would already be open. The problem is because of the ice, many side streets are completely unplowed and many others are practically speaking one lane with ice walls on either side (eliminating functional two way traffic).

Throwing school buses, teenage drivers, and normal commuting volume into that and you have a recipe for accidents and total gridlock.

It sucks, but turns out nature is more powerful than your desire not to spend time with your kids. [/quote]
