Eliminate all religions and eliminate these problems. We’d still find ways to discriminate against one another but magical thinking wouldn’t be part of it.
Totally agree. But then it would lay bare the fact that this has nothing to do with religion, and is in fact your standard white supremacy at work. These white Europeans want to claim some ancient ownership of this land, the brown people that actually live there won't just roll over and die, but because we're talking about white Europeans, the West looks the other way while they attempt to exterminate the indigenous people residing on the land.
I’m just going to copy and paste my previous question because no one bothered answering it last time: Explain, in detail, why you think Israel, a country that is 20% non-Jewish Arab and 32% Mizrahi (or to put it in words you can understand, “brown people”) is WHITE SUPREMACIST. That’s not even getting into the fact that the Ahskenazi Jewish population descends from holocaust survivors who were persecuted specifically for being non-white/aryan.
Who defines what white is? If someone has white skin why are they not considered white?
I’m telling you that fully 50% or more of Israeli citizens have skin as brown as your stereotypical Palestinian (although plenty of Palestinians look white as well). If you saw them side by side you would not be able to tell them apart. So explain to me how Israel is specifically a white supremacist project.
You think this is about literal skin color? Thats not how whiteness works dear. I'm a black woman with skin lighter than a lot of white people. Still not white. Most Israelis are of European descent. Most American Jews are of European descent. They consider themselves white until it is convenient not to be.
I’m not really interested in what Jews consider themselves to be. First of all, that’s individual to each Jew, and second of all, it’s really only relevant within the Jewish community. I’m much more interested in what society and particularly antisemites consider Jews to be. That’s much more relevant to their safety and actual lived experience. And there, you have things a** backwards. Society considers Jews to be non-white (read: racially impure, non-aryan, semitic, foreign) until it is convenient to consider them white (read: oppressors, colonialists, privileged). They are always cast as whatever society hates most/sees as most morally suspect. Regardless, the fact remains that, even according to antizionists OWN definition of whiteness, most Israelis are not white. Antizionists say that Palestinians are “brown” because they are indigenous to the Middle East. That is also true of roughly 50% of Israeli citizens, whose parents or grandparents are from Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Yemen, etc.
