One night he sent ranting texts to a bunch of us with pictures of his guns saying he was coming for us (this was due to differing political beliefs, which only one of us had been vocal about). We called the cops. We called CPS because he was home with his three daughters while his wife was out of town. He wasn’t arrested. They didn’t take his guns. This was in a wealthy city in VA. I think you severely underestimate how much anyone cares about guns in the legal system. [/quote]
