Good article I just read from a progressive that is honest about how the administration has approached this issue. They admit that Biden went hard left from the start under advice from Latino and migrant interest non profits. What I really can’t stand is the denialism. These people claiming what we see right in front of our face isn’t real. At least admit the truth.
It shows the political IQ of Trump that he didn’t gut Obamacare just to be spiteful on his first day in office. He knew it was popular. Biden and Kamala wanted to spite Trump rather than do what’s best for the country and what’s popular. They show themselves in the foot and are embarassed to claim the border czar title these days because it was an epic fail. Kamala’s conclusion was migration was growing because of climate change so she spent billions to Latin American corrupt governments to fight “climate change” to stem migration. They laughed but took the money away. Our tax money down the drain.. They not only opened the border On Day 1 as president but they openly traveled to the border to welcome people-something never done before. They were encouraging illegal entry, opening it to drugs, guns, sex trafficking, kidnapping. The FBI just quietly admitted yesterday that crime has gone up. Trump was right yet again.
First of all, Trump tried to gut Obamacare, by making the tax penalty 0. But, he couldn't get rid of it completely because it was too popular; several Rs voted against repealing Obamacare. However, I do agree that Biden missed an opportunity. I'm the poster who has repeatedly stated that Biden should've address the border issue the first year in office or there would be h3ll to pay come 2024. The writing was on the wall, and Dems completely ignored it. I'm livid, sad, resigned to Trump winning in 2024 mainly because of the immigration issue. This election was Dems to lose, and they dropped the ball, bigly. -Former R who will still vote for Harris because Trump is a danger to our national security.
But they didn’t drop the ball, they fought to allow as many migrants as possible in. They got exactly what they wanted.
That is their agenda - for uncontrolled mass illegal immigration. That’s why they go around Congress to create programs like the CBP One app to allow illegal immigrants to obtain parole at ports of entry or to fly in from foreign countries. They just don’t want bad optics or news coverage of large numbers of people at the border. Their first head of border patrol said their only priorities were to create pathways for migrants to enter the country and to process illegal immigrants into the country faster. That’s all their so-called border bill did - provide money to process and release illegal immigrants into the country faster.
