In the end, I felt kind of dirty after I put the book down. I felt like I participated in a particularly nasty gossip session where a tipsy  friend spews hate on everyone from her mother to her coworkers to her child and you can’t wait to leave and suffer second hand embarrassment. It reminded me of that woman who saw something that wasn’t there on a plane and had a meltdown grounding everyone in the process [/quote]
