Tryouts for the better clubs don’t really matter at this age. The teams already know which girls they are planning to bring on the team, usually the ones whose parents are friends with current parents, or girls who are truly standout players. Do not waste your time and money sending your daughter to the summer tryouts unless you know you already have a spot on the team or are satisfied with the money grab B team for these clubs.
Honestly, you should be emailing the coach/director, telling them yo are interested in tryouts and providing game film.
This is laughable for 2030s. Grow up
Why is this laughable? It's a great idea if you have good film that shows field IQ/awareness and how a player can perform under the pressure of competition. If it is just sped up film that shows your daughter barreling down the field and not passing to open teammates, then don't share that.
It may seem a bit over the top ("laughable" wasn't necessary) for rising 7th Graders, but I don't believe it is for the top clubs, like M&D and Hero's. From experience with an older daughter, an engagement with the coach and film could help with visibility and awareness for an upcoming tryout. If you played against those clubs, they will have film and will actually go back and review. Not kidding.
