Meanwhile Tommy Tuberville gives his well-thought-out reasoning on why he's in favor of the AL Supreme Court ruling: [twitter]https://twitter.com/JohnJHarwood/status/1760792787996340436[/twitter]
Tommy left out a word. Starts with a W and sounds like bite.
I just watched this interview on morning Joe and he didn’t know anything about this. He said to the reporter well I’ll have to look at the bill and she said it’s a Supreme Court decision. He had no clue what was happening in his state and then tried to end the interview by basically saying no one is talking about this. A chorus of stunned reporters shouted back it’s a Supreme Court decision that was just handed down. People are talking about this! Doesn’t he have a team to prep him on this kind of thing? How does this happen?
It's clear he doesn't know what IVF is. Why do people keep electing stupid people? I get he may be in line with his constituents political beliefs, but I imagine that isn't rare in Alabama. But he seems so stupid. I never can understand why people in mass numbers elect STUPID people, like MTG and Boebert. Just totally stupid dumb Fs.
+1 It is mind boggling. Mayyyyybe in the past a politician could hide their stupidity because it wasn't on camera or the internet. Now there's no hiding it, but these people are so un-self-aware that they don't even care that they're stupid and other people know it. It's shameful. But not to them.
But come on Alabama. You deserve a senator that at least knows what IVF is and that it is responsible for a percent of all births. It would be even better if he understood that overturning roe had ultimately the opposite effect on "needing more babies". But thinking through where overturning roe would lead seems way too much to ask of some of these people.
