We are talking about 2027 though, so yes, BLC 2027 is an outlier and should have the most Capital players because they are very talented. The BLC goalie might be the best 2027 goalie in region.[/quote]

And she is going to Good Counsel next year which will be interesting to see how that works out for current goalies there. In the finals the GC goalie only had 3 saves all game and gave up 12 goals. [/quote]

saves are very hard to come by in elite games. The defenses just can't keep up with elite scorers.

I don't know a lot about GC, but I do believe their starter from 2022 who returned did not play in that McDonough matchup. 
Either way, a freshman goalie will struggle in most matchups. Big learning curve.[/quote]

Defense struggles because they aren’t allowed to play in the 8.  Every move they make results in a free possession.     The rules need some adjustments so the defense can participate. One of the few sports where defense doesn’t win championships.  [/quote]
