In my area outside of Atlanta, DD is offering $4.50 in peak pay on top of their base as there are not enough drivers.  Even with that peak pay, I still ignore any order that does not include  a tip. As an IC, I am not required to pick up any order [/quote]

Someone else with ALWAYS pick up the order. There is no barrier to entry to this profession. Even felons will work under another person's name to deliver.[/quote]
