I ski a lot, and I wanted to believe GP. Her story though is so bogus to any expert skier as to make it laughable.

The reason people are so passionate about this is that if celebrities get away with rotten behavior on the slopes, that is then covered up by their paid assistants, the system breaks down. The system is based on self-enforcement of the rules and it’s an honor system. She’s lying if not about everything about a big chunk like her being in front (whomever is behind is in the wrong). That’s why her ski instructor whose job is to watch her “didn’t see” the incident. No instructor ever takes eyes off for so long that they can crash, get up, and no one being able to tell exactly what happened.

If GP wins the honor code of the mountain breaks down and the more powerful and mightier and stronger just start acting with impunity. Most often they are not GP but some meathead from NJ or Russia who won’t hesitate to lie and throw fists and money around [/quote]
