Are Montgomery County police officers such fragile flowers that they can't tolerate any criticism, regardless of context, or source, or even who it's aimed at?

For context: the October 2020 tweet (which is the first one I looked at) is related to the shooting of Walter Wallace by Philadelphia police; during the subsequent protests, Philadelphia police pulled Rickia Young and her teenage nephew out of their SUV, beat her, removed her two-year-old son, and lied about all of it on social media. The city settled out of court with Walter Wallace's family for $2.5 million, and with Rickia Young for $2 million. I think those actions by the Philadelphia police deserve criticism. What do you think?

Police officers should do the job they signed up to do, and are paid to do, ethically and to the best of their abilities - like the rest of us. Sometimes people will criticize them, fairly. Sometimes people will criticize them, unfairly. That's how it goes. If you're only a police officer for the external validation, you're in the wrong job anyway.[/quote]
